Action for ME / Westcare UK A national charity campaigning to improve the lives of people with ME in the UK.
Warning! This charity has (in the view of many) become a "lifestyle" management charity that heavily promotes the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Graded Exercise and not a lot else.
It is known that Action for ME has an active behind the scenes association with a small group of psychiatrists known as the "Wessely School" who hold the view that ME/CFS is a mental and behavioural disorder also referred to as Functional (psycho) Somatic Syndrome.
